Questions

What is the primary benefit of wearing ankle supports?

Ankle supports primarily protect against abrasions from mat work and provide light compression to minimize the risk of common training injuries, offering essential joint stability without restricting movement.

How do I choose the correct size?

The Fairtex AS1 comes in S/M and L/XL. Generally, S/M suits smaller to average builds, while L/XL is for larger builds. If you are between sizes, consider if you prefer a tighter or more relaxed fit.

Can these be worn for other sports?

While designed for Muay Thai and MMA, the general joint protection and abrasion resistance can be beneficial for other combat sports or activities where ankle support and skin protection are desired.

How should I care for my Fairtex AS1 Ankle Supports?

Being cotton, they can be hand washed or machine washed on a gentle cycle with cold water. Air dry them to maintain their shape and elasticity. Avoid bleach and high heat drying.
