Fit & Sizing

These ankleguards are designed for a snug fit to provide optimal support. If you are between sizes, consider your preference for compression versus comfort; a tighter fit offers more support, while a looser fit may be more comfortable for extended wear.

Great For

Athletes seeking daily ankle support and stability during training.
Individuals looking to reduce ankle injury risk during rotational movements.
Those who prioritize lightweight and breathable support.

Maybe Not For

Fighters needing full shin and instep protection for sparring.
Individuals with severe ankle injuries requiring rigid bracing.
Those who prefer a non-compression fit.

In Our Range

The Mavinn Performance Support Ankleguards are a dedicated ankle support item, distinct from other Mavinn accessories like the 'Pride of the Ring' handkerchief. They offer focused protection for the ankle joint, unlike other protective gear such as groin guards.

Questions

How do I choose the correct size?

Select your size based on your shoe size or ankle circumference. If you are between sizes, consider if you prefer a tighter, more supportive fit (size down) or a more relaxed, comfortable fit (size up).

Can these be worn under shin guards?

Yes, their lightweight and snug design allows them to be comfortably worn under shin guards for additional ankle support without adding significant bulk.

How should I care for my ankleguards?

Machine wash cold with like colors and air dry. Avoid using bleach or harsh detergents to maintain the integrity of the Polyester-Spandex blend.

Are these suitable for all types of training?

They are ideal for Muay Thai, cardio, and mobility work where ankle stability and support are crucial. They are not designed for activities requiring rigid ankle immobilization.
